Different levels of learning designed for developing through skilled practitioners.

Shen-Hammer Pulse is the modern interpretation of the c.15th Century Menghe Ding Lineage method from the Shanghai region of China. Passed to Dr Shen during the 1930's by Ding Ganren's grandson, turbulent events of the mid 20th century saw Dr Shen flee China for the USA.

Beginning in 1970’s in New York, 30 years of collaboration between Dr's Shen and Hammer saw the method recorded.

Evolved from classical Chinese medicine theory which describes the world, environment, and human biome as specific manifestations of the infinite possibilities of spatial and temporal energy exchanges, the information encoded in the pulse describes the specific energetic patterns within your patients at that moment in time.
The diagnostic information made available is rich and extensive. The pulse describes the life inherited, currently lived and indicates a likely trajectory for your patient’s health to come.
Once decoded, this knowledge guides you, the practitioner, to skilfully implement treatment combinations of Chinese herbs and acupuncture to positively impact the physical and/or psycho-emotional condition of your clients.
